Knitwear For The Autumn Chill.

Autumn has arrived and the mornings and evenings are chilly. So jumpers are a must first thing in the day for sure. The trees in the woods near by have started to slowly change colour and we have had a odd but beautiful mist surrounding our village for a few days.

With this year being so busy (Which is great) I have made  pact with myself to get out for at least an hour every day for some me time and clear my mind. On elf the places I have been going to is walking in the near by woods. I LOVE walking in the woods and especially right now with the trees turning colours. I you need to escape from it all for an  hours, I couldn’t reccomend it enough.

I forget how much I love this time of year until it comes around again. It’s put me in the mood for cosy days and hot chocolates. It has also made me put away my summer clothes and swap dresses for cosy knits. I have even gone with a new colour change for my hair as I was inspired by autumn.

This new jumper was a must have purchase from NEXT. I just loved the colours and it is so soft. There’s something about wearing a pop of colour on a grey day that can lift any mood.

There’s something nice about a white jumper and even better if it is fluffy.  It’s simple and  and of course goes with everything. This one is so soft, from ASOS.

I have also been layering more recently and wear thin jumpers under my many pair of dungarees. This purple jumper is so nice, it’s main in a fine yarn and is so soft. Goes perfectly under a pair from Lucy + Yak. (Both items are available from Ula Clothing in Cornwall)

Comfy knitwear, with a pair of jeans and statement footwear will definitely be my autumn look this season. What will be your go to autumn look?
