I literally love this time of year when all the flowers have started to come out and everywhere is so green. My daughter Holly and I had a rare free morning together so we headed off for ice cream at Roskilly’s near Coverack.
Both my kids have always loved this place and we have been many times as they have grown up. Holly is 18 and jumps for a trip here to visit the farm and of course grab an ice cream. There are some lovely farm animals there, Holly’s favourite are the goats and I love the pigs. On this visit there were some pot belly pigs and some ‘shinny’ piglets.
There is a lovely cafe and shop there where we stopped for a coffee and an ice cream. Roskilly’s is great place to take the kids as you can buy animal feed to feed the goats and ducks.
A short walk from the cafe there is a small meadow with some ponds, which right now look incredible. The ponds were surrounded by daises, which was so pretty. We were lucky also because a mum duck walked up to us with her baby ducklings! So cute!
The weather was ideal for me to wear a new outfit from a local store called Ula Clothing which has shops in Hayle and St Ives. I wore a striped top under the most comfy dungarees I have ever owned by Lucy & Yak.
